The program focused on enabling quantitative analysis of an individual’s knowledge, skills and attributes (KSA) for Suitability and Employability so as to develop a fitment criteria for individuals with respect to possible roles within an organization. The results of the analysis was used to build career guidance and management models for the individuals.
Some of the outcomes from the program for the potential job seeker as follows
ELADO’s RACE (Right Access Career Enabler) model works by bringing career seekers, career providers and career counselors together in a collaborative manner and allows critical interactions to take place between the stakeholders in a process on an online workspace. The process provides options for career seekers to evaluate themselves on competencies required for a particular job profile, obtain counseling and coaching for progressing in their careers, interact with career counselors and access learning to update their capabilities.
ELADO has a pool of learning facilitators & industry veterans, who come with in-depth experience in various Industry Domains. ELADO has specialist pool of Program & Pedagogy designers and execution specialists with experience in India and abroad. The founders of ELADO and the main resource panel together, have, over 150 man-years of experience in industry, business and through NGO operation, in skill and competency development for various roles in varying domains such as IT, Telecom, Electronics, FMCG, Foods & Beverages, Consumer Durables, Pharma, Bio-Tech & Healthcare.
Enhancing Key Soft Skills required for the various roles: 40 Hour Module: Communication, Spoken English & Vernacular, Active Listening, Written & Presentation Skills; Body language, Self Confidence, Stress Management, Achievement Orientation, Leadership; Inter-personal & Team Building Skills, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Decision Making; Time Management, Computer & Basic IT Skills, CV Presentation & Interview Skills
Agro-Business areas: 80 Hour Module: Field Executives or Plant Executives or Sales Executives: Seeds (Sunflower / Maize/ Cotton/ Rice/ Sorghum etc)
Pharma & Healthcare areas: 80 Hour Module: Sales & Marketing Executives; Public Healthcare Extension Executives, Hospital Patients Interface Executives (including coordination between front-end and the technical departments and the physicians& surgeons)
FMCG, Foods &Beverages, Consumer Durables, Telecom Sales & Customer Service, Financial Services: 80 Hour Module: Sales & Customer Service, Insurance Services-Sales & Customer Service, Structured Retail Sector areas
The 120 hour Modular Scheme (80+40) for each potential job opportunity and build a drawl on a minimum of 20 hours per role, as field work, in live situations, in the market place, in association with private and public sector organizations that may have operation in the areas in which the educational institutions may be situated.
The inclusion of 10 to 20 hours as role play, case study, and tutorial workshops are also very prominent. This holistic approach is currently ensuring that students who do not have access to quality pedagogy and infrastructure are now able to compete with the urban student in terms of becoming employed. Corporates are starting to view this as a CSR initiative and have started partnering in this initiative.
ELADO’s higher secondary school students programs are fundamentally accentuated to their grass roots and our emphasis remain to improve the outcomes for those students who are failing or are in danger of failure. Categorical gaps in achievement found in studies on economic levels narrow our focus to these at-risk populations among rural community. We provide extensive career guidance and counseling program where the prominence to help students identify their core strengths, counsel them that education is the way they could help improve their lives and surrounding areas.
Taking an inch further- The student centered reform are also focused on the comprehensive school design changes focus on research-based solutions to improve student achievement and success. Several of the components are connected to the school's ability to integrate instruction, assessment, classroom management, professional development, and parental involvement to raise student academic achievement and continue studies into graduation.
Implied in both studies is the premise that for all students to succeed, resources should be focused on helping to ensure that the kinds of opportunities and supports for their continuance. These activities are conducted by coaches who are public and private school teachers trained by ELADO.
